Amicalola Falls State Park has campsites for RVs, travel trailers and pop-ups with utilities, fire rings, tables and graded gravel pad and are available by reservation on line or by calling the parks reservation system at 770-389-7275. The park is high in the mountains north of Dawsonville, and is a popular starting point for day trips and overnight adventures into the Appalachian backcountry leading up the Appalachian Trail near Springer Mountain. More remote sites in the mountains above the park are easy to find; look for a fire ring or previous campsite.
