Now pouring in Dawsonville, Georgia! North Georgia was covered in bootleggers, but one of the most famous mountain moonshiners was Jack “Mimm” McClure. Mimm made the best moonshine around. Our distillery is founded by Jack McClure’s great-grandson, Tommy Townsend, who stumbled on his legendary perfected recipe.

Grandaddy Mimm’s uses the same ole moonshine recipe that dates back to the Great Depression, and today we distill in the same hills where Jack made it…we just pay a few extra taxes.
